I can understand a PR Agency and Ad Agency, what is this Media Buying, Social Media, Digital Agency? Aren’t they all part of an Ad Agency?

This was a question an acquaintance asked me while discussing the when and how to hire marketing and advertising agencies for startups. So this article is for those who need a little more clarity on the subject. Experts, do feel free to skip or even correct me if I am wrong.

Social Media Agency

Typically, you should be on the lookout for one if your product/service is a few months from launch.
